I can't tell you how many times I've come here. The owners are so friendly and take care of you so well. The food is actually spicy, so it's full of flavor and all kinds of vegetables and spices. My personal favorites are the basil fried rice, the avocado curry, and the mango sticky rice. The classics are all amazing as they've bested the top Thai restaurants in San Francisco, Boston, and New York. I find myself comparing every Thai restaurant to this one.
When a friend was eating the noodle soup, one of the servers came by with the suggestion to add vinegar, and our lives were never the same.
I've become friends with the owner and love this place so much. I don't have much reason to come to Hanover after graduating, but I may consider coming back for this restaurant. -

Got an order to go to try this restaurant. Pad Thai is so basic that you cannot do it wrong.
Got one order of chicken and one order of beef Pad Thai and an order of Thai Spring rolls.
Every Thai restaurant in the United States we have eaten you get asked how hot you want your dish, mild, medium or hot, or how hot from 1 to 5. You didn't ask, so I figured it was at least a medium hot, which is what I normally ask for.
My suggestion:
Ask the customer what he wants.
It was filling but not very flavorful, there was NO HEAT AT ALL. People eat Thai food for the heat.
In addition you did not even add any hot sauce packets in the to go bag or chopsticks.
My suggestion:
Either you ask if the customer wants chopsticks, or add them to all customers.
The food took 5 minutes to cook, bag and walk out, was it too fast, rushed, I don't have any idea. -

We scratched our heads at first trying to remember what establishment Tuk Tuk replaced (5 Olde Nugget or a Tex Mex place years ago?) behind Dirt Cowboy, but after our first few bites, we were too consumed by envy for those lucky young-uns on campus who get to dine here on a regular basis to care. It's only steps away from Thayer, Collis and the Hop, and must be wonderfully cozy and den-like in the winter.
Much of the menu consists of well-executed, Thai-American standards, but a few items, like the potent lime, fish-sauce and chili-infused lemongrass shrimp salad (phla kung maybe) could stand their own at a Bangkok street market, with just one or two additional chili peppers mixed in. As it was, this dish made me sweat -- in a really good way.
There's a nice-looking children's menu, but the pad thai we ordered off the adult menu was gentle on the fish sauce and tame enough for our kids. Summer rolls -- a hybrid Vietnamese-Thai dish that was, as more often made in Thailand, smaller, rice-vermicelli free, and wrapped with opaque rice crepes rather than clear ones -- were soft and pliant, filled with mostly vegetables, a bit of shrimp, and served with peanut sauce. We enjoyed them.
Folks at the restaurant were really nice. I can't wait to come back this winter to see what other pleasant surprises the chefs here have up their sleeves. -

Very enjoyable food and service here at Tuk Tuk! The Pineapple Fried Rice and Crispy Chicken Pad Thai we're spot on yummy. My rice could have been a bit spicier but there was a very nice selection of sauces and such at the table to add to it. I tossed on some of the Chili Lime one and it heated it right up and the lime complemented the flavors nicely. I'll definitely stop in here again when I'm in the area!

I mean it's delicious Thai food in a basement, not much else I have to explain here folks. If you are looking for a tasty cozy lunch/dinner when visiting the Dartmouth area this spot deserves to be on your radar.
